On Wednesday, June 14, 2006, the team of Gaston Bottero, Paul Collier, Mike Newediuk and Willis Rudy won the club scramble tournament at Mayfield with 3 under. The trophy, a thing of rare and peculiar beauty, is in the possession of Mr. Bottero who is trying to find a suitable display (hiding) place for it in his office.

On Friday, October 28th, 2005, the Rotary Music Night was attended by over 100 people who enjoyed a fine meal to e
ntertainment by pianist Ron Manfield,  the B427 Singers and Dancers, the Inclination Barbershop Quartet and the Etobicoke Centennial Choir. The event raised an estimated $2500 for the Canadian Landmine Foundation for landmine removal in Mozambique.


On Wednesday, June 15, 2005, the team of Mark Dawber, Bryan Pett, Frank Berndt and Paul Collier captured the coveted club trophy with one over par in the club scramble tournament on the challenging links of the Mayfield Golf Club. The trophy, a thing of rare and peculiar beauty, is in the possession of Mr. Collier, the only player to promise not to use it for home heating next winter.
