I am a corporate lawyer specializing in Corporate Law including succession planning and estate planning related to Corporations. I have practised in Etobicoke since being called to the Bar in 1983. Actively involved in the Etobicoke community since the early 1980’s, in addition to Rotary, I have sat on hospital and museum Boards, private company boards and not-for profit Boards. In addition, I am Chair of the Board of Youth Employment Services YES and sit on 2 Private Foundation Boards.

I joined Rotary in 2011 after having been raised in a Rotary family (my father was a Rotarian). I was the President of the Rotary Club of Toronto West for the 2014-2015 Rotary year and have a particular interest in working with Youth and in International projects.

This Club is very special to me. I have breakfast every Thursday morning with a group of business people (some are retired) who are like-minded in that they want to give back to the community. On Wednesdays, I meet with the Interact Clubs (Rotary for high school), which our Club sponsors in our neighbourhood. They put a smile on my face! The world-wide organization of Rotary inspires me to look further than my local neighbourhood to those parts of the world less fortunate. In 2015, I visited India with Rotary to help with the polio vaccinations and in March 2017, I visited the Dominican Republic to review the benefits of water filters our Club helped to fund and to hand out clothing and school supplies in the poorest areas of the country. My fellow Rotarians are an inspiration to me!

Rotary offers many things, including wonderful fellowship, service in our community and around the world and a lot of fun! If you travel at all, you will find Rotarians everywhere and they are welcoming and supportive! Come to breakfast at our Club and make some friends for life!
